Sad but true.
Wallpapers #3
How did it come to this? Did I just take pictures of a toy dinosaur biting a doll on the bum and put them on the web? Is this juvenile website really going to be my contribution to the world?
While I ponder that, here is another set of wallpapers. They are all variations on one photo of the green-eyed minx Non-Non.
I know these wallpapers could use improvement. I don't claim to be a photographer or an artist. But I think they are getting better and I've seen some pretty awful computer desktops in my time. So maybe these efforts are good enough for some people. If any of them have graced your desktop I would love to hear about it.
I promise that this will be the last time I use a gratuitous lens-flare effect in an attempt to explain where the light is coming from (it's supposed to look like she's casting a spell.) I spent way too much time trying to make that picture look good and eventually just had to move on.
Each wallpaper comes in three sizes:
- 1280 x 1024 for the strange 5:4 screen ratio of the most common LCD monitor. Do not use this if you have a CRT monitor, or an LCD monitor with a native resolution other than 1280 x 1024.
- 1280 x 960 for all 4:3 ratio monitors. Use 'stretch' to fill your screen.
- 1280 x 720 for widescreen 16:9 ratio monitors. Use 'stretch' to fill your screen.
Tamaki vs. Dino
Earlier we exposed Tamaki as a nasty little fake, and we've established I hate fakes. Time for revenge!
I really don't want to offend anyone, so if you are from Europe you can imagine the dinosaur is having sex with her, and if you are from the USA you can imagine the dinosaur is murdering her. There, now no-one will be offended.
Edit (27 June 2008): I just realised I offended everyone in Asia by leaving them out!
Non-Non
This is getting dangerously close to a regular, boring figure photo-shoot, but I couldn't do anything nasty to Non-Non - I love her so much. When I first gazed into her captivating green eyes I knew I had to have her.
Manufactured by Yamato and based on a drawing by the master Shunya Yamashita, she's 1/6 scale and I wish she was a little bigger. Five foot five would do it.
Figurephilia #4
Astute readers will notice that this is the same strip as the last one, but with a different punchline. Hopefully one that more people will understand...
